online workshop oct. 16th - AI Made Practical: Work Smarter, Live Easier

Written By Céline Godard-Aron

Curious about AI but not sure where to start? Join the Women’s Economic Council (WEC) and Dr. Marina Flat, AI Lead, researcher, speaker, and founder of MapleWise AI, for an engaging, hands-on introduction to artificial intelligence.

Through accessible examples, live demonstrations, and an interactive activity using tools like ChatGPT, you’ll discover what AI can (and can’t) do, learn to use it more effectively and responsibly, and build confidence applying it to everyday life and work.

No technical background, prior experience, or paid subscription required. Just curiosity!

This workshop is the first step toward two deeper learning pathways: AI for Everyday Life and AI Literacy for Business.

Who should attend? Adults, professionals, small-business owners, nonprofit and community members, and anyone curious about AI.

This workshop will be delivered in English.
